All school offices have reopened. The district office and school offices will be open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Students may come at any of the times listed above to prepare for the new school year. This is a great opportunity to complete the following:
• Pick-up Class Schedule
• Pay Fee’s | Fee Guidelines
• Obtain Parking Permits
• Purchase Family passes, Yearbooks, Activity Cards and School Spirit Items
• Freshman orientation
• Register My Athlete*
Important Information will be provided by:
Cash and Checks are a preferred method of payment. Master Card and Visa will be accepted but you may experience more of a line delay
All previous books must be returned and all fee’s paid in order to obtain class schedules.
Textbooks that have not been returned will be accepted at Kingdom Days.
Supply lists will be provided by teachers during the first week of school/Basic Supplies needed are pencils, pens, paper, highlighters, large 3-ring binder, and notecards.
Register My Athlete
In an attempt to streamline the athletic clearance process, Higley High School is going paperless. Using the enclosed instructions, you will now complete the athletic clearance packet electronically at Register My Athlete.com. All forms can be viewed and signed electronically, and additional required forms (i.e.-physical forms, etc.) can be uploaded to your account. Please follow the enclosed instructions to register your students for athletic clearance, for the 2016-2017 academic school year. It’s that time of year for you to update your email address, unsubscribe, or register for a new school to receive email notifications from schools, Community Education (including Kids Club), and the District.
Email information could include communication about emergency situations, registration information and upcoming events.
If you wish stop the e-mails from the previous school, you may click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the e-mails you receive.
Please note: This only changes your email preference using the email notification system. If you do not have a current/active e-mail address, home address or phone number on file with your school, please update that with school office staff. Offices open July 6.

It is that time of year to update your information with your child's school. If you have had an address, telephone, or email change, please stop by your child's school to update the information. All address changes require proof of residency. Please remember to bring one of the following items with you: contract on your house, rental or lease agreement, or electric bill.

Food service letter to families
Did you know that every Higley student receives a cafeteria account upon enrollment? HUSD has chosen MealTime Online to provide the opportunity for you to make credit card deposits into your student’s cafeteria account or view your student’s purchase history via the internet.
Higley Unified School District would also like to invite you to apply for Free and Reduced Price Meals online (beginning July 6). The process is SAFE, SECURE, PRIVATE, and AVAILABLE anytime, anywhere!

2016/17 Meal Prices Announced
Breakfast and lunch prices for 2016/17 have been posted. Lunch prices for middle school and high school students on “paid status” will increase 5 cents, from $2.90 to $2.95 for middle schools and from $3.05 to $3.10 for high school. All other prices remain the same.

Higley, Williams Field High Schools adopt Canvas Learning
Higley High and Williams Field High will roll out a new learning management system for the 2016-17 school year. The system will allow students to log on to see their teacher pages, which will include class details, schedules and more as determined by the teacher. High school parents will also receive a log in to keep watch for more information later the in summer.
Families will still track grades and attendance information through ParentVue.
Parents will also receive a log in to be able to review the materials.
To use ParentVue, parents need a personal code created by their student’s school. Please visit your school office for more information.
