On Wednesday, February 4, 2009, Fox 10 News broadcaster Cory McClosky came to Power Ranch Elementary with Sky Fox. Fox 10 spent the hour at Power Ranch and Cory gave his weather forecast from the back field. After the helicopter landed, all of the students listened to the pilot talk about the helicopter and his job.
