Scott Glover's portrait
Mr. Scott Glover
Governing Board Member
Scott Glover has been in the education profession for over two decades. He has lived in the East Valley since 1996. He is married to a teacher, the father of two and has been a tireless, passionate advocate for public education. Like many others, he believes that a strong education can be the pathway to success and that a vibrant public educational system has been a cornerstone of our democracy.

Professionally, Mr. Glover has taught everything from kindergarten to high school, as well as coached dozens of teams over the years. He has taught abroad and in three different states. Some of the roles he has worked include: junior high and high school social studies teacher, curriculum specialist, media specialist, kindergarten teacher, 6th and 7th grade teacher and currently, technology integration educator. He has been honored as Teacher of the Year, as well as recipient of Gilbert Public Schools’ first Innovation in Teaching Award.
He is dedicated to making our schools the best they can be for students, teachers, parents and the community. Strong local public schools mean strong communities. Even if you do not have a child in Higley schools, all citizens of HUSD benefit from having quality public schools.

Mr. Glover enjoys working with young people and watching them grow into confident, contributing members of society. He greatly values the important work that teachers do and hopes to support them in his role as Governing Board member.
