Rachel Kimball competed against students from Queen Creek, Williams Field, Combs and Desert Ridge High Schools in the East Valley Idol event held on December 12th at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. Rachel progressed to this event after winning the “Higley Idol” competition on October 30th. Rachel performed three songs at the East Valley Idol event and, after an audience vote, was named the East Valley Idol. Rachel wins the opportunity to work in a studio and receive a free demo CD of her singing, a photo shoot for a portfolio and the opportunity to audition with talent scouts. The event was sponsored by the HHS student council and all proceeds went to the breast cancer society.
