Kindergarten UPDATE
Dear Families of Kindergarten Students for the 2010-2011 School Year,
On Thursday, March 11, 2010 the HUSD Governing Board made the decision to offer
FREE full day kindergarten
for the 2010-2011 school year. We are delighted that you have registered your child for kindergarten in our district already. In light of this confirmed decision for
FREE full day kindergarten
if you would like to change your child’s current schedule selection from a half day option to a full day schedule please contact your home school directly to make this change. If you have already selected a full day kindergarten option you will not need to do anything else.
Please encourage your neighbors, friends, and extended family members whose children will be five years old by August 31, 2010 to register for kindergarten today! Space is available at all Higley K-8 schools. If their child turns five years old between September 1 and December 31, 2010 they are eligible to be tested for early entrance. Please see our
