Governing Board Member

Mrs. Whitener began her first term as a Governing Board Member in 2007. She is a certified teacher and holds a B.S. in Secondary Biology Education and an M.S. in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. She has taught and coached at both the high school and elementary levels. Mrs. Whitener and her husband Scott have two young sons who will attend Cortina Elementary School.
