8th Grade Softball Wins Championship
On Thursday, October 8th, Coronado's 8th Grade Softball team beat Gateway 5-3 to bring home the championship. Gateway had entered the game undefeated, while Coronado had entered as the number two seed, having losses to Chaparral and Gateway during the regular season. Behind strong pitching and good defense, the Coyotes emerged victorious in six innings. They will be honored at the Governing Board Meeting on Thursday, October 22nd and will have a banner hung in the gym. Congratulations!
