Open Enrollment for 2012-13
Open enrollment is offered on a “space available” basis to students who reside both within and outside the Higley Unified School District. If you desire enrollment in a school located outside of your designated attendance area, an application form needs to be completed by March 1, 2012.
Open enrollment in the Higley Unified School District must be renewed for students at all grade levels on an annual basis. Student population growth necessitates a yearly evaluation at each school site as to whether there is capacity for additional students.
Open enrollment applications for the 2012-2013 school year must be submitted to the school office of the school in which you are requesting enrollment by March 1, 2012. Open enrollment acceptance decisions will be made by June 1, 2012. Once informed of the open enrollment decision, parents will have 15 days to confirm acceptance. Schools will maintain a waiting list for submitted open enrollment requests.
Open enrollment applications are available for both current and new students at each HUSD school site and can also be found online.
